Peer Pleasure became the passion project of my time as part of Singapore's theatre community. From my training and experience in education, it made natural sense for me to help young people learn and participate more in theatre.

The festival became a niche in Singapore's theatre-scape in being theatre for the youth, by the youth themselves. It stood in contrast to the competitive and institutionalised structure of the arts at school level, and challenged boundaries and perceptions in production quality, youth involvement and even subject matter for a youth centric movement.

2015 was the inaugural season and I feel very privilege to have been involved with this beautiful and precious beacon for Singaporean youth theatre.
